The perimeter driveway is in serious need of
repair. Ours has been repeatedly cut up and patched over the years
and it's literally falling apart. We have approximately 18,000 sq'
of driveway and although it would cost more and last longer to be
done in concrete, we will mostly likely go with
asphalt. The general feeling was that spending the
extra money on concrete wouldn't affect property values.
We've only received one bid so far but will
obtain 3 more and provide more details on this webpage as we get
closer to having the work done but it looks like the cost will be
about $3,000 per homeowner.
We're still contemplating how to finance the
project and looking into bank financing vs. a special assessment.
